以前的讨论我都看过了，我的疑问是，E中的结构是allow sb to do A rather than do B, 可是“allow members of the jury (to) be confined to a hotel”好像有点说不通啊，怎么能“允许...被困在旅店中呢”？Tianwan大N指出过allow有“let”的意思，可是即使这样，let members (to) be comfined to a hotel好像也不通呢？是不是我的理解上有什么问题？恳请NN们指点！谢了！

这么翻译是不是好些，“允许他们回家而不是要求他们限制在一个旅店中”，这个结构是没有问题的，别多心
