能解释以下题吗？

section 7-18
Sales of United States manufactured goods to nonindustrialized countries rose to $167 billion in 1992, which is 14 percent more than the previous year and largely offsets weak demand from Europe and Japan.
A)
B) which is 14 percent higher than it was the previous year
C) 14 percent higher than the previous year's figure
D) an amount that is 14 percent more than the previous year was
E) an amount that is 14 percent hihger than the previous year's figure

为什么不可以用D呢？A好像也对？记着好像有书提到过 more than the previous year 可以用作比较，而不用在 the previous year 上再加指代词？

我觉着答案应该是E.
A中的which指代不对。
D中比较不对。
句子，n（概括）是ets喜欢用的形式。

more than the previous year的用发在GMAT考试中好象没有对过。

我觉得选C
A中the previous year前缺了介词或者引导
B中it 不能和sales对应阿
D中amount应该不能和previous year比较吧
E中amount和figure应该也不能比较吧

A.B. which指代不清, 不能指代前面的句子
C.14 percent higher, 什么东西的14 percent higher 呢?与后句一起看,不平行&文法有误.
D中比较不对。

d 还有一个错误amount 与more搭配（应该与high/low搭配）。只有具体的东西可以与more搭配
