标题: 询问：课外活动/志愿者工作在MBA申请中多重要？ [打印本页]

标题: 询问：课外活动/志愿者工作在MBA申请中多重要？
看了官网的申请表，才发现MBA好像不但重视工作经验，也很重视申请者是否参加公益活动or志愿者活动。自己一回想，才发现高中和大学是参加这些活动最多的时候，与之相比，工作以后，心思都放在工作上了, 参加的无偿或志愿者工作都好“渺小”，没有什么成就。想问问了解的同学：

1、高中和大学的课外活动能放到申请表上吗？
2、这些无偿或志愿者工作在成功申请MBA中到底有多重要啊？

有就写，没有就不用写。volunteering的作用嘛，锦上添花而非雪中送炭。怎么都不会有工作背景+G/T成绩重要

Hi there,
Good to hear from you!
So first of all Extra curriculars ARE very important to make your profile diverse. They are however LESS important than your work experience and your GMAT.

1. Sure you can put ECs from college. But don’t put anything from high school in your application. It’s too long ago.

2. It’s important to have some extras so that your profile has DEPTH. They don’t have to be amazing (although it can help).
