标题: 16OG SC90 NN请进阿！！！求助比较歧义的两个题
比较真是比较复杂。。。以下两个OG题目我一直分不清，请牛人指导为啥第一句有歧义，第二个就没有呢？
第一题 Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than a year ago and are going down, even though floods in the Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops and therefore raisedcorn and soybean prices.
第二题 heating-oil prices are expected to be higher this year than last because refiners are paying about $5 a barrel more for crude oil than they were last year.

网上的语法解释确实比较齐全，导致本版问问题的人少啊，谁来解答我心中的困惑阿。。。。

是啊，目前我只有看到prep中说now是副词。。。

last year's 肯定不对。last year's =last year's oil price. 那么就是this year 和price做比较了

但是这里的答案就是：Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than those of a year ago啊。为什么不会觉得是now跟those of a year ago在比较？

是啊,这个我也不明白.我在prep里面看见过解释说,因为now是副词,不知道是不是now和this year承担的结构不一样.等nn解答!如果没有人理...那就只有死记now的case了....哭...

我说说我的理解哈。虽然我是看不懂now跟this year为什么不能同时作为副词比较。毕竟this year跟last year都可以比较，那姑且就记住吧。到正式考试的时候，先不要急着排除，再看看其他选项。

然后说Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than those of a year ago。这里的those是有指代的，就是说前面的prices at the producer level，也就是这样，变成了主语比较。可以理解。

那么下一句：heating-oil prices are expected to be higher this year than last year's。这里的last year's是一个所有格形式，而前面没有任何的's形式，作为比较两端平行来看，这个比较并不好。

再举一个例子，OG16的111题：wild animals have less total fat than do livestock fed on grain.这里是主语比较；wild animals have less total fat than livestock fed on grain.这里也是主语比较，我想大概是因为逻辑意思，wild animals不可能have livestock；wild animals have less total fat than that of livestock fed on grain. （这里OG解释说that不能指代任何东西，也就是说不能指代前面的fat）逻辑上来看：野生动物有比家禽肥肉更少的肥肉（显然有点怪）。简单来说，如果要把that看做指代fat（因为肯定不能指代animals了），那么就是看成一个宾语比较了，宾语比较最简单的例子，比如：i eat more apples than oranges。我吃的苹果比橘子多。那apples与oranges肯定是可比的，是可以互相alternative的，但是这里的fat 与 fat of livestock显然是不可比的，范围就很不同。或者说，i eat apples是可以的，i eat oranges是可以的，所以可比，而这里 wild animals have fat可以，但是wild animals have fat of livestock就不可以了。

所以像这种that, those出现的时候一定要找到它指代的对象，带到文中来，再做判断。

1)这两个句子的比较部分都是对的！也就是说now vs. a year ago （时间做比较）；this year 和last year做比较。之前我在manhattan有看过，这类题的具体做法就是。找到前面句子的比较点是什么，然后根据前面的选后面。
2) 那为什么不选now than a year ago因为此选项的后面严重违反了and的并列时态的规则（G妈不能忍受的错误）even though floods in the Midwest and drought in the South are hurting crops and therefore raised
3) 更搞笑的是我看见Ron解释说为啥OG的解释说now那边有歧义。他说因为OG的题是一伙人出的，但是解释都是另外外聘人员写的，经常有错。笑s我了。

自己动手丰衣足食，哈哈。终于不再纠结了~
