答案是选D，说examine与decide并列，那么我就不懂了，conditions后面为什么要加个and呢，假如是verb并列，为什么不是在decide前面加呢。我选了B,当作两个独立句子了（虽然按照ron神的说法答案中有不用pronoun就不用pronoun,但百思不得其解），谢谢坛子里各位NN观帖指导

这个中间的插入语可以忽略，没有任何问题

...that executives.......and they这里的they是多余的，前面已经有唯一的主语了，后面也不需要重复，简洁原则
