难句类型：复杂修饰、插入语

译文：古特曼人令人信服地论辨道，黑人家庭的稳定有助于包括民间传说、音乐、及宗教表达在内的黑人文化遗产一代一代传递下去，因而在维持文化遗产方面也起着至关重要的作用，而对于这种文化遗产，黑奴们不断地从其非洲和美洲的经历中予以丰富发展。

解释：由that引导的宾语从句中，encouraged的宾语the transmission of the Black heritage被同时表示并列和转折的and so 分开，给读者造成了阅读上和理解上的困难。最后一个逗号后面的部分是修饰前面的black heritage的同位语。

为什么说and so是同时表示并列和转折呢？我怎么觉得so是指代前面“stability of the Black family encouraged　the transmission ” 呢？

还有 “－”之间的sustaining的宾语是the Black heritage吗？

were fashioning out of是什么意思啊？我找了几本字典都没有找到它的解释

so用作副词，=therefore.同意你说sustain的宾语。fashion out of可能要结合上下文来理解

感谢而今迈步从头越MM, 你关于so的解释是正确的，我在longman里面查到了and so＝and therefore。我还想问问，补充说明的部分“and so was crucial in sustaining”是指什么是crucial的呢？是stability of the Black family 还是the transmission 呢？好像不同的理解会产生不同的意思，我感觉应该是说stability of the Black family was crucial，不知道对不对

剛好語法課老師提過

fashion當動詞介係詞要用from / out of 意思是 "用.....製作......"

我想在此就是引申:從美非的經歷中不斷創造發展下去...

因為是新手......說錯請指正....

可是这样子的话and so 也不是表示并列和转折，而是并列和结果啊！！！！！！困惑啊！

杨鹏其实不太管语法的，如果你仔细看你会发现GMAT 部分有一个地方的Where 是状从，他当成了定从计入其中，但并不影响句子理解啊。所以要懂语法，但不靠语法。此举你非要理解语法才能懂意思嚒？非也非也
