答案是c。为何d不对呢？感觉语法结构是平行的，从句意来讲，也说得通"AB's works assemble an interesting world".

以前一直认为just as, so是出现对的，看来规律打破了。

D少了一个动词，改称Just as John McPhee's assemble就对了。

as 是 conj. 后面要完整句子， D. just as 后的句子结构不完整。
