in her book illustration如果修饰capitalize，和修饰对象距离太远
如果修饰coordinate，them有微妙的指代问题。

哈哈哈，我也有同样的问题。
这题的关键是看modifier的位置。
举例
modifier1+ modifier2+ 名词。
容易认为modifier1修饰哪一个？有时会说，修饰下一个modifer，这是允许的，但是，如果修饰后面的名次，就不对了。

同样，名次+ modifier1+ modifier2，也会对这俩modifier 产生疑问。

也就是说，夹心修饰是允许的，但要注意修饰关系。
嘿嘿。这个答案解决此类问题。

如果修饰coordinate：coordinate them (B) with A in B.
我们不会说在illustration中协调illustration和narrative。
如果修饰capitalize：in her book illustration应该放在capitalized附近，而不是隔着coordinating...这个修饰BP的修饰语
