同问，感觉a critique是好一些，同位语。但是，B中的his envisioning of 又看着有点别扭

E选项是不是会引起歧义呀？


critiquing all the chemistry done since Robert Boyle as well as his own
envisioning of ：会产生两种解释


（1）结构为：critique(动词) ＋all the chemistry..（名词短语）as well as ＋his own envisioning of （名词短语），那么结构就是“critique”连接两个并列的名词短语做宾语


（2）结构为：critique(动词) all the chemistry..（名词短语）as well as his own envisioning of （名词短语），也可以理解为是“critique”引导的动宾短语与名词短语并列


句子的原意是“19世纪化学家HP在“ESSAY on Heat and Light”一书中展示了他的早期研究成果，这本书是对自RB之后所有化学的批评，也是HP希望发现的新化学的展望”。因此，“对于。。。的批评”和“对于。。。的展望”是并列的。那么E选项是不对的。
