One of the best and feasible ways to answer your questions is to research on the websites of the law firms, go to the page where information of the lawyers are listed, find out those with the last name seem to belong to mainland Chinese. You would be at least find out information as - which law school they graduated, which year he/she passed bar, which area he/she concentrates, degrees other than the law degree, his current position with the firm whether being an associate, senior associate, partner or senior partner, and etc. Then you would have pretty good idea of which firm likes recruiting Chinese students from which top school, if there is any.
It is better you have a focus on what type of law firms you are interested in, regardless of by areas of concentration, size, history or geographic locations; otherwise you will bury yourself in overwhelming stats.
