The inside of the tank is exactly 4 feet in diameter.
2. The top surface of the gasoline forms a rectangle that has an area of 24 square feet.

我其实做题的时候也没太看懂--------
后来自己仔细搞了搞，算是明白了---------
核心是：The tank is a cylinder resting horizontally on its side, with its circular ends oriented vertically.
horizontally 水平地（想想水平线呀少年 a horizontal line！）-----为了害怕我们理解不了，后面with特别补充说明：its circular ends（这个圆柱体的圆形底面）oriented vertically（方向是垂直的呀！想想高中数学你的圆面垂直于地面的感觉）
综上，这是一个躺下的圆柱体的尊严！
最后补偿一下：The inside of the tank is exactly 6 feet long. 这里的long实际就是这个圆柱体的高！因为他躺下来了呀！所以高就变成长边啦！
