这里答案给的是C，我真得很困惑。armed怎么也应该修饰前面最近的名词roads啊，虽然说逻辑意思上好像说不过去，但是前面也还有一个poineering work可修饰。那两个人也相隔太远了吧。感到很困惑。

如果一定要我选择一个答案，我选择B.

这里traveling的位置是不是很好，但是也可以理解为表示伴随动作，就在两个人的名字后面，而后面就是谓语动词，也没有夹心修饰的问题。后面的and they，这里也没有什么问题，they代替了前面的主语，之所以要重复一下，就是因为距离那两个人太远了。A do, and A（they,it) do结构是对的。一个例子就是：

Iguanas have been an important food source in Latin America since prehistoric times, and they are still prized as game animals by the campinions, who typically cook the meat in a heavily spiced stew.

总体语感，B显得不够简洁。

具体分析一下，B中的they指什么呢？仅指Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály 吗？

显然不是，但是，此处指Hungary，Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály 太牵强。至少有些指代不清。

而C用traveling the back roads of Hungary armed only，巧妙的使ONLY后的内容逻辑意思上包含了Hungary，Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály 。

C中是不是少了一個and
我覺得是

the back roads of Hungary and armed only....
如果沒有and, "armed only.."只可以修飾Hungary, 可以armed的意思是equipped, Hungary不可能equipped一個phonograph(唱片機)跟curiosity吧...

還有看不慬OG說為什麼only在B中是misplaced.

都一樣, 雖然大部的情況下, only的位置會令句子有不同的意思...

我倒是选C的，读着最流畅，但是回头想想C加一个and 或加一个逗号就更完美了吧。加了逗号就是优先指代主语，不加好像就是就近修饰紧靠它的名词并且中间没有插入成分。

——不知道我对ed分词的理解对不对

only确实跟原句有点不一样，原句是说装备的东西仅有些什么，B是说仅装备某些东西这个动作而没有其他动词，体会一下——动作是装备装备的东西only这些，和only做了装备XX的事情，是不一样的。

我讚同妳對過去分詞的看法...也因為讚同, 我就C沒有comma或and就不太對...
