OG解析：
C The reference of them is unclear and the expression is generally awkward.
E Correct. The land area of Laos is correctly compared to that of Great Britain; whom refers appropriately to people.
这道题我当时选了C，明白了them指代不清这个问题。但是OG说awkward是为什么？
2. When Congress reconvenes, some newly elected members from rural states will try to establish tighter restrictions on the amount of grain farmers will be allowed to grow and to encourage more aggressive sales of United States farm products overseas.这句是正确的句子，但是没有分析明白结构。

第二个问题：
时间状语从句When Congress reconvenes,
句子主语some newly elected members from rural states
will try的两个动作to establish ... and to encourage ...
其中的will try to establish tighter restrictions on the amount of grain （that）farmers will be allowed to grow中的farmers will be allowed to grow是定语从句，省略了that（因为that做to grow的宾语） 作者: Xiaqingsami 时间: 2015-8-16 13:24
