这是GAMC在出题时十分常用的套路：Distraction & Hide
Distraction就是通过提供某些无用information，利用人的思维惯性(Inertia)和心理暗示来误导考生，达到Hide correct answer的目的。

比较典型的Distraction手段，此题一定要口述不能让被问者看文字，否则无效：
三点水加一个来去的“来”字读lai，有个地名叫“涞水”；那么三点水加一个来去的“去”字读什么呢？
很多人一瞬间会突然不认识这个我们小学2年级就认识几乎每天都会看到的字。这就是Distraction。通过问题第一部分的心理暗示，来主管人的“惯性思维”从而“忽悠”被问者。
GMAC的出题者也很善于此道，这也是他们把问题难度升级的典型手段之一。

此题为正确答案D。
这题说穿了非常简单：

削弱：他爱女人
有两种削弱方式：
1. 他不爱女人（什么意思呢？他不爱女人，或者他不是“爱”女人，而是“杀”，“打”，“奸”女人，这都是对“他爱女人”的有效削弱）
2. 他爱非女人（他不爱“女人”，爱男人，狗，外星人，这同样是对“他爱女人”的有效削弱）


因为讨论的主题不能变，所以“非他爱女人”并不是对“他爱女人”的有效削弱。

例子容易懂，我们回头看此题：

结论：the guillemots' range will probably be enlarged by being extended northward along the coast
这句话可以攻击的点有两处：
第一种削弱方向：the guillemots' range will NOT probably be enlarged by being extended northward along the coast第二种削弱方向：the guillemots' range will probably be enlarged by NOT being extended northward along the coast



而题中给了我们大量的无用信息来达成distraction：所有的需要连续80天下雪等等都是无用信息。目的都是通过把你绕进去来Hide the correct answer。
D的逻辑很简单，随着温度增加北极南部的冰会融化--->the guillemots' range will probably NOT be enlarged by being extended northward along the coast, but rather shift northward along the coast
不是把底盘扩大，而是向北移动（因为南边的冰融了不满足其生存的必要条件）

这题逻辑非常简单，但出题者使用了Distraction & Hide Strategy成功的提升了难度。

根据红字的一段话，D的逻辑是，因为北极南部的冰会融化，所以这个鸟（以冰下鱼为食的）就失去了食物来源，所以才不能扩大它们的range， 这个并不是咬文嚼字的文字游戏，而是原文有暗示的

我也觉得，虽然五个选项我没太看懂。。。但是也能选出来，毕竟只有正确选项是原文有暗示的
