荷兰有些什么好的商学院呢？ - ChaseDream

一般这样的名校，硕士项目都是需要工作经验的，你没有工作经验，也就没什么竞争力了。不过，工作经验这东西毕竟没有你的成绩(本科/GMAT)来的直观。

MSc项目，推荐有GMAT成绩；MBA项目必须有GMAT成绩，好像至少650还是670的。至于金融投资怎么样，这就需要去问问多这个专业的人了。当然，他的MBA是非常好的，你可以参考一下最新的金融时报的MBA排名。

谢谢.......我查了他的网站,他说是面向inexperienced的人,也没有说什么要求,很简单,不够具体.

RSM is a nice school. Just that I heard some rumers that they lost some good professors in the previous year so the ranking slids down a bit. (And so sure, anyone has an idea about this?)

You are right, but in any case RSM is not top 3 in Europe. The competition is not the same....ex. INSEAD GMAT 707 average. RSM you can get in with something like 620 with okay working experience. I have the impression that it's easy to get in (maybe I am wrong). This year they admitted already 15 Taiwanese. Many people get in with GMAT score 580 to 650. Of course GMAT is not a 'good' indicator....but I believe people who get in INSEAD, LBS, IESE with over 700 GMAT will not have worse working experience than those admitted by RSM. As for Oxford and Cambridge....as far as I know they are attracting more high quility students than before. Also there is one important factore-it seems to me that Oxbridge people are 'eager' to reach the top. Many of them believe they eventurally will be top 5 in Europe (Not sure if this will really happen) while I never heard of RSM people saying the same. I saw people who recommend RSM as 'comparable to US top 30'/ 'Good choise if you can't go to USA'. Man... as a 'European top 3' you don't say you are 'comparable to US top 30'. You say you are head to head with US top 10 or M7 schools.

The ability to help students gain mobility after graduation(expecially important for international students)

MBA is expensive. Besides 'good education'you also need good job oppotunity after graduation and smart/bright classmates.

My two cents. Don't get me wrong. RSM is still a good MBA. Top 10 in Europe, but not top 3.(somewhere between 4 to 10)

2. I think INSEAD, IMD, LBS are the top 3 in Euro MBAs while reading ranking reports.

3. However, the Europe is a so big market that even top 12 schools are still among very excellent choices. (the U.S. has top 20)

5. As for top 3 or top 7, my personal opinion, no very substantial difference, except avg. GMAT score (INSEAD and IESE seem to be the highest, both are considered U.S. MBA schools, not Euro ones).

6. Taiwanese can not be the sample of RSM students (I believe RSM set friendly policy for Taiwan and Japan), although previously it had pre-MBA Abbott Lab. manager and Uniliver brand manager from Taiwan

7. By my knowledge, RSM probably will have students from Morgan Stanley, Anderson, Deloitte, and big pharma this year. I believe its quality, career, and salary will not be very bad.

I was from RSM. For sure, RSM is a quite nice school, ranking No.1 in Netherlands. If you are first class NiuRen, I suggest you to go for Insead or LBS. But Anyway, other than those two BS, I don't think other European top 10 BS is stronger than RSM. At least, RSM's value is the highest among European top 10 BS (I means RSM tuition is lowest) and RSM is most internationalized school only after IMD in the world. I have exchanged to Ivey, and compared with Ivey, I do prefer to RSM's MBA life.

What's more, I feel confidence since all of us 9 RSM Chinese MBA 2005 grduates located nice jobs within 3 months after grduation.

我不太了解荷兰，但是我想给你推荐一个学校：法国的EDHEC，他的Msc in marketing 英文授课声誉不错，工作薪金也不错，顺便说，这个学校在法国排名第五。学费不算贵的，至少比荷兰的学校便宜。

小弟打算明年去RSM读书，目前几个月正在全力拼GMAT希望能上700，去欧洲一流的商学院一直是我的梦想，只是不知道这个学校什么专业比较好。对于荷兰，我个人判断她的海上物流和国际贸易应该是一流的！但是不知道RSM什么是强项！！本人背景一般，上海师大经济学毕业，学过2年法语。1年投资公司工作经验。自己创业一年（炒房产）赚了100多万！！现在非常想到国外的一流b－school继续学习！！希望能得到高手的指点！！感激不禁！！

Definitely, the best B-school in Holland is Rotterdam School of Management (RSM). the school is in Rotterdam not in Amsterdam.

I went to Paris to attend the European MBA Olympics this summer and met a lot of students from other European School. I think RSM's MBA is one of the best program.

RSM's program is very diversify, our classmates are from above 50 countries. so the culture is very diversify and no dominate majority. in terms of job, many students enter into consulting industry and some of them go to finance and industry.

<Windmolen>You are most certainly wrong! Intelligence is not the only factor that count in success in business and life. A profile of a person consists more than the GMAT average alone. At least, I hope that is the case.

<Windmolen>Statistically, bachelors with no working experience have on average a higher GMAT score than a person with 3-4 years of working experience because the working guy has less time and patience to study. So, you assumption is wrong.

But the best b-school always contains the following elements (in my view):

Competative student body (Attract the best of the best applicants)

Ambitious, eager to be the best

The ability to help students gain mobility after graduation(expecially important for international students)

I strongly advice you NOT to take the msc programme at RSM. The reason is that RSM and bedrijfskunde (dutch for business science) merged last year. The msc. programme at RSM comes from the business science department. It is NOT that good. Majority of the programme is taught in Dutch, that is why you need to take language lessons in the bridge year as well. After you have finished the programme, you have to compete with about 800 -1000 native speakers on the job market who finishes the programme together with you. I hope you are a optimistic person, because the odds are not that good.

Before you apply any master program, i suggest you to take the job opportunities into consideration. for younger people with 2-4 working experience, it will be easier for them to get some trainee program. for people with over 6 year working experience, they normally find job according to their experience. Holland is a very international market, many multinational companies located in Amsterdam, De Haag.It' s very good for international candidates.
