标题: OG194

194. Presenters at the seminar, one who is blind, will

demonstrate adaptive equipment that allows visually impaired people to use computers.

(A) one who

(B) one of them who

(C) and one of them who

(D) one of whom

(E) one of which

The subject, presenters, must be followed by a limiting appositive _ such as one of whom, that identifies an individual from among a larger group. Choice D is best: one of whom best serves an appositive to the subject, presenters, because the phrase means "one from among several or many." Choice A, one who, is unacceptable because one who cannot refer to the plural presenters. Choices B and C are ungrammatical because who competes with one as the subject of is. Choice E employs which, a relative pronoun that does not refer to people (presenters), but only to things.

不理解为什么用whom , 谁能教教

我也不明白,b为什么不行?

whom是who的宾格,在介词后(of)只能用whom来搭配,who是主格在从句中只能作主语用,不能接在介词后做宾格

我觉得B是个很wordy的表达,先用个them来指代presenters再用who来做个限定,难道不觉得很麻烦么,还是D最好:)

略表拙见,欢迎指正

B:one of them who

who的指代不好,从意思上讲who是指代一个人的,但是B选项中,who跟在them后面。

从功能上说one of them和who都可以指代,所以OG说who competes with one as the subject of is

标准答案中的 one of whom,one是一个的意思,就是whom中的一个,whom和one没有冲突了。

菜鸟的感觉,供讨论
