个人意见，请参考：
整句话说的是“虽然设计工作包括XXX，但是它也越来越显示出所含盖工作的广泛性，如XXX”
这里有一个转折，前面表示的一般状况，后面说的是这项工作“日益如何如何”，就像have become to be一样。用完成时表渐进的情况。
另外我觉得suggest 和is在概念上可能还是有些不同的，is前后的概念要对等，大全这题的主语term应该是“指”process，而不能“是”process,is前后的范畴不一致。
suggest作“表明”讲，正是“指出”设计工作所含盖的内容，同样这里也不能用is.
