E选项中的“appearance"在这里是“出现，显露”的意思，所以E选项的意思就是：和diamond一起出现的可能

这个在文章中是描述过的：Geo-chemists John Gurney showed that garnets with this composition were (50) formed only in the diamond-stability field; more commonly found versions came from elsewhere in the mantle.
