标题: AIA18集思广益中参与讨论提高自己惠及他人
A18. “To be successful, a business must align its goals to the goals of the country.”
Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the opinion stated above. Support your views with reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.
1大多数情况一个企业的目标和一个国家的目标并不一定是冲突的。因为国家要以人民的利益为首要考虑要素。而企业为了得到最大化的利润也要很好的满足消费者的需求。
但是有的时候矛盾也是不可以避免的。
2有些情况下，是要牺牲短期的目标来顺应国家的目标的。事实上这在长远来看通常对一个企业是有好处的。如化工厂按照国家的要求改进污水处理设备，短期影响利润长期却可以使企业受益因为可以避免惩罚等等。
3另外一些情况下则不需要做上述让步。因为国家是在为一个国家的人考虑而一个企业只要满足它的顾客群就可以了。但是前提是不能违背国家的法律。

Agree.

If the goal of an enterprise responds to the macro-trend, which is the best interest of a nation, it surely will ripe profit richly through sustainable success. For instance, military contractors surely benefit from the war on Iraq.

同意楼主，总结：首先有一些东西是不能违背的，如法令法规；其次大多数情况下不需要违背，因为国家利益和群体利益毕竟是一致的（综合第一点和第二点）；最后矛盾出现的时候要分情况的，比如现在是全球化经济，不能仅从一个国家角度看问题，还有不利于国家又不利于世界的事情还是不要做
