请问这里的it和shareholders 是不是有主谓不一致的问题？

还是it 指的是shareholders他们的那一个公司？

不好意思，突然想起来，这里如果是because 分句，这里不存在主谓不一致的问题，但是我觉得这个题不好，因为代词it 放开头，没有对应指代。大家的意见呢？

it是指代 the drop

我认为it指代Emco，也就是one of the few corporations diversified enough to survive the recession。
