标题: OG15-57 老题疑惑
56.Many of the earliest known images of Hindu deities in India date from the time of the Kushan Empire, fashioned either from the spotted sandstone of Mathura orGandharan grey schist.

虽然看过解释，说因为date from和fashion（v）要平行因此选择E，但是
1. date为什么是动词原型而fashion是过去时？
2. 怎么判断两个动词是平行关系？
3. 用分词来修饰就不是平行关系了吗？不见得啊…

顶一下，又是一个我觉得解释点怪怪的题。其他选项的错误都是因为either or没平行…

GMAT中时态不影响平行，被动和主动也不影响平行，只要两个动作的主语是同一个主语就可以用and连接了

这题中，fashioned如果用作修饰词就是修饰 the Kushan Empire（Noun Modifier must touch the noun），那逻辑关系上怎么看都怪怪的……

所以，fashion 和 date的主语相同，平行下用were fashioned...

我做的时候以为没选项因为前三个的either or明显错误，最后一个平行犹豫了N久。。。后来查了曼哈顿人家说时态不影响平行

PS。。。我是一枚渣渣如有说错希望楼下大神补充

因为date是讲的eternal truth-不受时间状态影响，它就是事实；
但是were fashioned是讲的过去时间（time of the Kushan Empire）的事情，不可能说这种images现在流行；

时态要正确反映逻辑意思，既是所谓的逻辑意义平行 > 形式平行
