especially 是引导状语,不是独立主格

longman:especially, more important or happens more with one paticular thing than with oters:Crime is growing at a rapid rate, especially in urban area.

其实这里的those并不是单纯的指代前面的journals and  magazines, 补全句子去理解就是 especially those journals and  magazines that are focusing on technology. 这里的those是指journals and  magazines中的一部分。这里需要those.

选项用的是现在完成时态，在没有明确的理由的时候，一般不要改变时态!本题用排除法作.

會不會是因為those business journals and general consumer magaxines.... 其中business journals and general consumer magaxines已經重複過了，所以省略，只留下those。OG11裡頭有很多因為重複而省略的解釋存在。

至於為何使用完成式？
我在想或許是因為" economic downturn"是需要花一些時間才會發生的。亦即"由於這一陣子以來的downturn" 所以造成了...的減少。

前面问题比较大的是现在完成时和those：
我认为：为什么用现在完成时，是排除出来的，其实这里并没有完成时的标志，其他答案都有明显错误；
those不能单独出现是指找不到合适的指代对象，比如整个句子没有复数名词，这种情况本句不存在。

这里并没有单独出现those,those后有限定修饰成分ing分词，只要有限定修饰成分就不是单独出现，如those of ,those that 都是可以的

不好意思，刚才看走眼了，看成29题了，该题为什么要用现在完成时，我的思路是：一开始就看到the current...“当前的什么东东”，试问：什么时态会跟“当前的东东”有关系呢？当然是现在完成时，持续到现在的动作。而CDE中的reduced...只是说过去，与“当前的。。。”没有任何联系，所以排除。寡人愚见，见笑见笑。。。

我觉得这里的those应该those做同位语修饰 magazines，因为those后面是focusing on technology，而business journals 是不可能focusing on technology，只能是general consumer magazines 才可能focusing on technology

这道题终究还是没有人能给出关于those单独指代的令人信服的解释哈。
我觉得就算楼上这样解释的通，那这种用法也会造成理解上的困扰啊。

我觉得这题里面D不对是因为 'S必须可以变回~OF STH,但是这里用的是FOR，因此不能用's.
