35. Affirmative action is good business. So asserted the National Association of Manufacturers while urging retention of an executive order requiring some federal contractors to set numerical goals for hiring minorities and women. “Diversity in work force participation has produced new ideas in management, product development, and marketing,” the association claimed.

这一题题干中的line of reasonning 是什么呢？分不清conclusion和premise，所以不知道为什么D不对？请指教。（看了置顶链接，没有找到答案）

不过这题的结论是说Affirmative Action对公司有利--“Diversity in work force participation has produced new ideas in management, product development, and marketing,” the association claimed.

D根本与这个无关。

还是不是很清楚，你的意思是Diversity in work force participation has produced new ideas in management, product development, and marketing,” the association claimed. 是 conclusion了，那么affirmative action is good business是premise啦？

I think first you have to understand what is affirmative action? Affirmation action is a policy or a program that seeks to redress past discrimination through active measures to ensure equal opportunity, as in education and employment. E is not right because it didn't mention minoirity at all. I am sure if it is clear now.
