说说我的理解:
1. 没什么区别。
2. 表示目的时, for后面一般跟名词: eg: I came here for a meeting.
  而如果目的是动词则用to : I came here to attend a meeting.


以下是引用chichi在2003-8-8 10:47:00的发言:
Before the Civil War, Harriet Tubman, herself an escaped slave,returened again and again to Maryland to guide ohter slaves along the Underground Railroad to freedom.

A. herself an escaped slave, returned again and again to Maryland to guide
C. an escaped slave herself, returned again and again to Maryland for guiding

the answer is A, but I chose C.

对此有两个疑问:
1, "herself an escaped slave", " an escaped slave herself" 有什磨区别?
2。for, to 都可表目的,有什磨区别呢,在这都可以使吗?

一般来说,(1)反身代词一般接在人名得后面;(2)除了固定搭配以外,不要轻易地改变用不定式表示的目的状语
