26. Of all the possible disasters that threaten American agriculture, the possibility of an adverse change in climate is maybe the more difficult for analysis.

(A) is maybe the more difficult for analysis

(B) is probably the most difficult to analyze

(D) is probably the more difficult to analyze（B）

(E) is, it may be, the analysis that is most difficult

both are adv., what is the difference between maybe and probably? why ETS explains that "maybe" is unidiomatic in A and C?

perhaps 只表示可能, 无法体会出肯能性大小, 不精确. probably 表很大程度上可能, 精确.

这么跟您说吧，商业英文不用maybe这个词，比较主观瞎猜的意思；所以ETS基本就不用这个词；

需要澄清的是may be分开还是见过的，是可以用的；
