昨天收到Ivey电话面试的邮件，请教：


1、他要求给三个时间安排，是否越早越好？一周后会晚吗？


2、Ivey 那里与北京的时差有多少（最好具体一点）


3、Ivey interview 的问题有哪些？看到有人总结多大的面试问题，怎么没人总结Ivey 的呢？

Hi regarding to your three questions:


1. since deadline is May 1, I believe, so the sooner the better, also show them you are really interested in pursuing your mba with Ivey. remember positive attitude is always important.


2. time difference is exactly 12 hrs now, since we are in summer time now. So now in Toronto it is Apr13, Wed, 9:30 in the morning, while in Beijing, would be Apr 13, Wed, 9:30 in the evening. Do remember check the date! if it is Toronto's afternoon today, then it would be tomorrow's morning in Beijing.


3. Interview questions --- why Ivey, why mba? Example of team work, leadership? Example of project, what you learned from that? Overall, very generic questions and many of them would be somewhat the same as your essay questions. Suggestions: prepare 5-6 questions, including the above mentioned, and also regarding to your resume, write them down or outline, it would help you to keep your conversation in focus. Because, telephone interview would be more difficult than face to face.

  7. 如果组织捐款项目，你怎么策划?

  8. Students know whom they want to study with what can you contribute to the class?

  9. Your project is due tomorrow, but one of your team members is not working hard, what would you do?

  10. You are a team leader. you know your project milestone can not be met, how would you communicate with your manager and your team members?

  11. 为什么一些媒体说IVEY的排名有所下降，解释原因。

  12. What do you expect to gain from the Ivey MBA Program?

  13. Tell me about one person whom you see as a good leader. And why?

  14. Describe a situation when you presented an idea to a team.

  15. Greatest achievement. 用30秒钟描述你的最大的成就。

  16. Most difficult decision?

  17. Describe a situation when you were a member of a team that did not do well. What have you learned from this experience?

  18. Describe your experience in dealing with multicultural difference.

  19. Do you have anything to add to your resume?

  20. What did you learn and acquire in your past career?

  21. Any questions?

  22. 如果team中有一个成员的观点与其他人不同，并且他比较坚持自己的观点，你怎么办？如果project快due了，但是仍未能说服他，你怎么交作业？

based on my personal experience, the interviewer did not read your essays, only your resume. so I think you are safe to use examples from essays.

wxl-gmat总结得非常全。我面的时候被问到除了7、11、12、14、18、20、22之外的所有问题。我基本上是按与Essay相同的case答的。interviewer没有看过essay，只看过resume，用essay上的case是因为我觉得essay是经过反复考虑的，比现想的可靠（个人观点）。

一般是学生面试，Ivey的观点是学生最清楚他们希望与谁一起学习。

另外，提醒你一定要对case method有所准备，因为case method不是对所有人都适合的，所以很可能会问你对case method的看法。

谢谢以上各位。我的interviewer 是 Ella Strong，好像有人跟她接触过，感觉如何？她一般愿意谈些什么？

另外，在介绍自己时要讲些什么？

请问jenny_sky，可以确认interviewer是Ella Strong吗？还是只收到了她发的Email与你确认面试安排？一般来说Ivey的interviewer都是学生。Ella Strong是个Director，挺nice的老太太；其他就不清楚了。

我面试Ivey的时候，没有要求自我介绍。个人认为，自我介绍应该言简意赅，从大学毕业开始一笔带过，重要的经历用一两句话着重一下就可以了。我在其他学校面试的时候，自我介绍超过3分钟，面试官就有点不耐烦了。

忽然想起一件事情，Ivey的学生可能快放假了，说不定真是Ella面试你；抱歉，可能误导你了。

请教，我上星期六收到ivey学生的面试邀请，我给他做了回复，但从此再也没消息了。是不是学生都放假了？面试时间是不是需要事先确认？真郁闷啊！！

抱歉，我不敢确认Ivey的学生是否已经放假。在我递交了申请之后，主动预约了class visit，并要求顺便面试。当时大多数华人申请者都是在class visit时面试的。招生办的一位秘书发邮件通知我面试时间，我邮件回复确认，此后便再无联系，直到我去面试。我到Ivey的网站上去看了一下，今年的class visit已经全部结束了，所以也不知道现在的面试行程怎么安排了。

我是在3月29日面试的，3月31日就拿到了offer。个人感觉，Ivey作事的风格比较细腻，即使学生真的放假也一定会妥善安排好seasun00妹妹的面试安排的，请你放心。平时可以同Ivey邮件联系。
