为什么要用完成时？现在是就可以了啊

各选项主要问题：

A）错在makes与主语单复不一至

B）in greater detail 与than ever before 不能分隔

D）in greater detail than it ever was before 不符合习惯用法，than ever before, than before都可以

E）has made 主谓单复不一致，而且出现 more possible和 in greater detail 两个比较内容。好像大部分的比较都是一次比较一个内容，如果有两个则分开表示，如：

1. The development of a new jumbo rocket that is expected to carry the United States into its next phase of space exploration will be able to deliver a heavier load of instruments into orbit than the space shuttle and at a lower cost.

我看到这道题的第一反映是关于状语部分的比较。对于主语或谓语的比较都讲究平行，但是状语的比较如何平行？in greater detail......than (it was) before?

恩，谢谢GG，我是疑惑化红线的部分这个effects of...后又有or，那么后面的是effects of a river 吗，那个calefaction 是和warming 同属一个effects 下的吗，那怎么翻译呢，感觉怎么这么怪呢

我的理解是:calefaction(加热,发暖,温暖)应该是与warming平行.

所以:the effects of calefaction, or warming, of a river = the effects of calefaction of river or the effects of warning of river.
