正确答案是C，但是我觉得应该选D，请教高手C与D之间究竟是如何抉择的。

不是高手，来答一下，你看看有没有道理。

C whereas nuclear power accounts for just over 33 percent of the energy produced in Germany

D. whereas just over 33 percent of the energy comes from nuclear power in Germany

看两句的紫色部分，介词短语的位置；
主句讲的是 energy produced in France
C项介词的位置与主句一样，表明比较的二者是两个产地的energy;
而D项，把介词 in Germany 放在 nuclear energy后面，有歧义，in GERMANY 直接修饰 nuclear power;
