这个提干自身是个什么逻辑???
我理解题干的意思是：由于适龄大学生人口的下降，许多大学预计新生班的人数将逐年减少。然而，nice大学的管理人员惊讶地发现合格申请者的人数比上一年增加了40％，所以nice大学打算雇用更多的老师来教导新生。
题干认为申请者的人数增加，必然意味着入学新生人数的增加。然而d指出由于该校不是申请者的首选，其人数的增加不一定增加新生人数。
