这道题不明白为什么不能选c，还有growth是不是不可以被more修饰呢？？求大神解答！感谢～

第一题：C选项问题出在exceeds that which，不知道that指代什么，而且which从句修饰that有很wordy。
第三题：在XXX速度要用at，排除AB；比较级higher这里应该用than，排除D； than that currently possible要是省略就应该把that省掉，留着that留着currently possible把中间谓语省了，不像话，排除。

that 修饰 growth？
than后面的are currently possible 如果不省略的话原话是什么呢？

不知道that指代什么————= =|||我不是问你，我是说这里指代关系有错。不知所云。

排除掉ABCD后E是剩下最好的，不代表E是完美的。
不是很有必要讨论怎么改或者怎么补全。

可以这么补at speeds (that would be) much higher than (speeds that) are currently possible
你可以觉得别的补全的方法更好，但是那全都是题外话，跟做题没什么关系。

还有一题，真的是完全搞不明白twice 和double的区别到底何在？并且double修饰时到底是现在分词形式还是过去分词形式？

twice as many as ：由于是many，前后比较的显然应该是可数名词的个数。这里as后面加的是increase，而不是people——排除。

double可以做形容词可以做动词可以做副词可以做名词
但是double as much as显然是扯淡的，要用twice才对——排除

剩下两个“逗号”+doubling，显然是动词的现在分词，所以在句子中做状语修饰整句/或者说谓语。
问题是B中increase已经是个数字了，that of the increase说不通是个什么意思。
