P: Your hypothesis is laughabal! what would have been the points of such a person "s writing Homeric epics down? Surely a person who knew them well enough to write them down would not need to read them and no one else could read them zccording to your hypothesis.

猪头久不做逻辑，都快忘光了~ 先将就着讲两句，等一回儿大牛就来了~ M认为如果具备knew the Phoenician writing system 和wanted to have some way of recording Homeric epics的条件，就能够达到 developed tradition of oral poetry 的目的 P反驳说，如果writing的能力存在，那读的人根本就不会去注意 tradition of oral poetry，所以说M的hypothesis是不可取的 ALPHABET , homeric epics, oral poetry 均属于细节，没有必要太过注意
