标题: CMU and UNC-Marketing Ph.D.

I got offers from both (actually I got anther offer from
Washington U too.But I have already rejected it. ). Till now I still can't make
a decision. I really hope you guys can give me some advice. Xie Xie La.

I am a graduate student in physics currently. According to
my background, quantitative research area will be my Ph.D. study focus for sure.
But how about: if I’m not going to look for a job in academia after graduation,
which one should I choose?

Thanks, zsls123. Yeah, it may be a mistake
that I rejected WUSL. I am doing a project with a marketing professor,
which is in analytical modeling. WUSL should be the one which is
closest to my current work. But from the website, it seems that Prof.
Narasimhan does have any publication recently. Another professor whose
work is about empirical modeling has gone to Rice. So...

I'm not sure which specific area I will work on. The one I'm doingright now is about channel promotions. I talked to Prof. Sun and shesuggested that I should go to CMU. But this year CMU accepted 7students in marketing. Although there might be someone who will notgoing there, I still think too many people.

BTW, can you say something about WUSL. Is it the best one among these three? I still want to know though I rejected it.
