请问答案Ａ中的ＡＳ　是什么意思，怎么试图翻译，可就是说不同呀～！

另一个问题是：不是两个独立的句子要是用ＡＮＤ　连接的话不是之前要加逗号的吗？否则不就是ＲＵＮ－ＯＮ　ＳＥＮＴＥＮＣＥ吗？那么本句怎么就对了？

这里AS是由于、因为的意思，放在这里是说因为要为下一个季度做准备，所以本季度的销售费用很高

because revenues are low and (because) marketing expenses are high as companies prepare for the coming school year 这样一来就很清楚,and前后是两个并列的短语, 而非句子.

because是因果关系从句的引导词，两个从句用and并列想得通吧？SVO and SVO肯定是错的，但举个例子That I am a fool and that I am a pig are fallacious remarks. 两个主语从句的并列。To conclude, 从句是可以用and并列的。

从句（包括状语从句）和短语都是修饰语，不是句子的主要成分，所以不在SVO之列，非常清晰，谢谢
