首先congrats on both of your offer! I'm still waiting for my official from UCSD. Even thought I interview in early march, but my gpa is below 3.0, so take them a little bit longer to review. I see your offer came really fast. Less than a week? Nice.
In terms of Babson vs UCSD, LZ 想往high tech, I think California is more suitable. If you think of not only San Diego, but L.A and San Jose. I'm currently resides in Bay Area. The list of high tech co. (Google, tesla, paypal, trend micro, eBay, PayPal, Facebook, Twitter, yahoo, adobe, visa, Levi's, Walmart.com, net app, HP, Apple, Qualcomm)
I'm not that familiar with Boston, but i lived in NYC as a kid. East coast have more finance jobs. High tech jobs market pay is higher on the west coast. But of course, like you said, you're also competing with, M7 grads.
Same is true on the west coast, you're competing with Cal Tech, Stanford, UCLA, USC. Even out of state MBA who are attract to the sunny weather like yourself.
What I'm trying to say is. 最后还是要问自己是不是有冒险的精神。 您从申请到留学到找工作不是都在创业找机会吗? 找到好工作留再美国不都是创业吗, you are your own brand, you are your own product. 把自己包装好了不愁卖不出去. 因为毕竟兩所学校都不是M7 or top 10, 就算是也不会guarantee jobs after graduation. 所以要是把读这两所大学當做创业的话,LZ 会选哪一所呢?因为LZ 的work experience 本来就不是一般大学可以给的, 我们的leadership skills and position is over qualify to most of the tradition two yr program, that is at least what ADcom told me during my interview with booth and Kellogg. 最后就是口语的部分, 要是LZ 口语perfect 的话, 有什麼好擔心的?在美国找工作是要看hardskills, 可是也要看你怎么sell要yourself.
