According to the professor's lecture, she disagree with the opinion proposed in the passage, and she thinks that is a greatly exaggerate. Here are her arguments:
First of all, the public can still view the fossils even if them have been put into the commercial trade market. The commercial trade lets more fossils expose to the public to choose from, thus the public can have more opportunities to see the fossils. If necessary, the school and institution can purchase the fossils and then demonstrate them in the museum.
Secondly, fossils owned by the wealthy doesn't means that the scientist lose the opportunities to analyze them. Because, before the fossils being sold to the private, the detailed examination on the them must have been conducted to identify whether the particular fossil can be sold to the person. By this way, the fossil that still worth analyzing wouldn't be sold, thus ensure that the scientist can conduct deep analysis on it.
Thirdly, the professor holds that rather than letting the fossils undiscovered all the time, it's a good way to let the private to find out where the fossils are. Letting scientists and the institutions to discover the fossils then ensure they get the intact data to analyze and forbid the public to do so is not a genius way. Because, by doing things like this, might let more and more fossils be undiscovered all the time, which still attributes nothing to the analysis work.
Above all, the professor raise her questions whether the fossils should be bought by private and then logically attacks the points proposed in the passage.

The professor disagrees with the opinions given in the passage. On the contrary, she thinks the influences of fire is that giving a chance to creative rather than damage.
First, she admits that the fires do burn out some vegetations, but on the other hand. It gives some plants that cannot grow in the past a new environment to develop. Thus the vegetation types in the park grows than before.
Second, after the fires, some species distinct in the forest, but the professor mentions that it gives other species a new environment to grow. Taking rabbit as example, in the past this kind of small animals cannot survive in the past ecosystem but now they can live there. After that , the predators start to grow. Thus the food chain can be rebuilt and it shows more stronger than the past.
Third, according to the data she gets, after the crude fires,  Yellowstone park does not suffer from visitor decrease. Because of the wind, rain fall, this area recovers soon. In the second year, the number of people visited the park is similar to the one before the forest.
Above all, the professor defeat the points states in the passage logically.

Parents should encourage their children to do their homework independently rather than help them to do it.

Education is an exclusively important issue in every parents’ eye. Since a proper way to foster their children may have a long-reaching impact on children’s personal development. Some hold that parents should encourage their children to finish their homework independently, while the opponent think that if parents can help their children would be better. In my perspective, children may benefit a lot from doing homework independently.

As we know, the homework assigned by teachers is a mean to test how well the knowledge their students have learnt as well as to consolidate knowledge. Homework is a kind of feedback which helps the teachers to find out how much the students can absorb during the class. Assuming that parents help their children to finish their homework, and definitely most answers are correct. But doing homework in this way could not help their teachers to realize whether the students really understand or not. As a result, the teachers may assume that their students understand the class and master this part of knowledge quite well. But actually maybe this is a wrong signal to teachers.

Completing homework independently is a rational mean to solidify what students have learnt during the class. During the class the children absorb the information passively, and student themselves may assert that they have master the specific method to deal with the problem. Actually, in the class, it’s the teacher that leads the whole class to deal with the problem together, and some of the students may just sit there without thinking. After school, reviewing the content in the class and then do the homework by students themselves is a rather good way to inspect what points they missed in the class.

In addition, admittedly, finishing the homework with the parents’ help can save quite a lot of time, but, can the children develop their imaginative and critical thinking under the “help” from their parents? The answer is definitely not. Take my cousin as example, when she doing the homework like painting, their parents would kindly offer the guidance to her . Beautiful and perfect seems the painting, but actually it’s her parents work. I’m afraid it contribute nothing to the personality development.

Finally, I would like to emphasize the importance of doing homework independently. Homework is a indispensable part which should be completed by children themselves. We should not just look at homework itself but the way the children complete the homework will have a far-reaching impact on children’s intellectual development.

Teachers should assign homework for students everyday.

It’s a common phenomenon that people always give first priority to score and use score to evaluate a student in exam-oriented education. The public take it for granted that a outstanding student must get possess high score. Some people urge that teacher should assign homework for student everyday to ensure teaching quality. But in my perspective, assigning homework everyday is impractical and may not contribute so much as we assume. Several points in different dimensions will be demonstrated and explained.

Generally, homework is served as a tool to solidified the knowledge student have learnt as well as to help teachers figure out how well their student perform. Assigning homework everyday seems can encourage the student to focus on what they learnt and test themselves how much they have absorbed. On the contrary, in reality, receiving too much homework may induce resistance from students’ mind. As a result, they may copy others’ homework and hand in without thinking themselves, thus teachers cannot realize their true level and homework lose its original purpose ultimately.

Doing homework everyday is time-consuming and tiring on both sides, which limits students’ personal development. Students are required to spending lot of time on homework and teachers also need to do the revision on what their students hand in. I still remember how much homework I had to do when I studied in junior school, we had to study seven subjects in a semester and every teacher would assign homework everyday. What I did every night at that time was doing homework ceaselessly, so I was forced to give up many opportunities to do my what I like. I lost my best time to develop my interest and what I gained was a good score.

In addition, we cannot deny that doing homework can help us to concentrate more on our study, but in this modern society, we are required to develop from different aspects and the society won’t judge a person only on their academic performance. For Some students who possess a talent in music or sports, they are supposed to spend more time on exploiting their potential on particular field. And homework shouldn’t not become a burden on their personal development since they cannot balance their time on their academic and professional field.

Finally, I would like to emphasize that doing homework can benefit students but assigning homework everyday may hinder students’ personal development and lose its initial objective.
