We think that the DEET can protect us from mosquitoes becausethey don’t like the smell. A recent research found that after a few hours themosquitoes exposed to the DEET seem immune. But the total number of mosquitoes tryto land on the skins is still less than that try to land on the plain skins.

Further experiments have approved that mosquitoes do getimmune after expose to DEET. But we are still encouraged to use the DEET-basedrepellents to stop the spread of diseases. A experiment is taken and mosquitoes are divided into two groups. One group is near to the chemical coverd arm while the other one near to the bare arm. Three hours after the mosquitoes first attaced the arms, more mosquitoes attact the chemical covered arm. But the quantity of the mosquitoes that attact the chemical covered arem is still less than the quantity of the mosquitoes which do not attack
TIME2: 02'01'' Another experiment is taken to verify that it is not the reflection of the chemical and the skin that diminish the effect of the chemical to the mosquitoes. It is said that the mosquitoes can overcome the chemical innately, but the phenomena that the mosquitoes in the first round can not adapt to the chemical denies the assumption. Then another explaination is given and mosquitoes have certain system to get used to the chemical. But it doesn't mean that DEET can not be used any longer since most of the mosquitoes stay with adult only several hours and not alll the mosquitoes can overcome the chemical. In addition, there is no other effective method to resist mosquitoes

Time1- 1’35” [303words] This article discusses whether mosquitos immune to certain chemicals. It first discusses old belief that DEET can repel mosquitos. Then refute the belief by describing an experiment.

Time2- 1’48” [386words] First validate the experiment: using an object the mosquitos naturally attracted to with DEET. Then discuss the reason that mosquitos are immune to DEET, refute genetic reason. Less sensitive. Last experts suggest not to stop using DEET for two reason: 1. No other repellent invented; 2. Short life expectancy makes mosquitos less likely to pass the persistency of the chemical to others.

Time3- 1’08” [247words] explore the causes why some people attract mosquitos more than others.

Time4-1’39” [330words] continue to explore causes, including carbon dioxide, exercise and metabolism, skin bacteria, and beer. Regarding beer, researchers suspect that beer might cause some other chemicals rise in our body/breath, attracting mosquitos.

4. Use a if X , then Y formula to ensure yourself stick with the project/plan without deviating/ distracted.
5. Example: the author lost 20 pounds by implementing the strategy.
