比如下面这一题的D中，OG的解释就暗示了可以作为定语

OG对D项的解释: The final descriptor in present tense,now drawing conclusions....does not fit the opening clause, which is in present-prefect tense(have amassed a wealth)and seems to midify adulthood.

不管做什么成分，都是modifier，而comma+ving，再怎么也不会修饰preceding noun。。。 ...

这个规则真的存在吗？我看很多这个一直都有争议。

s,ving,vo这个结构

默认的ving作为noun modifier修饰s

这属于comma+ving的一种特殊情况
另外一种更清晰的理解就是，ving是被（注意！）a pair of comma 隔开的，所以这种结构和comma+ving不一样的

comma+Ving，这个modifier结构正常情况下修饰前句动词或者整句话，逻辑主语和前句保持一致；不过也有一些情况下修饰preceding noun，如下句：
In a plan to stop the erosion of East Coast beaches, the Army Corps of Engineers proposed building parallel to shore a breakwater of rocks that would rise six feet above the waterline and act as a buffer, absorbing the energy of crashing waves and protecting the beaches.
