请各位帮忙,推荐信的问题

我的两个推荐人, 一个是我原来公司的总裁, 他身体不好, 得了肺癌, 估计是肯定不能叫他到网上填推荐信了.我的导师, 也是比较拽的人, 更不敢叫他一个学校一个学校地填.

两个人也似乎都不是通融的人,属于那种不喜欢弄虚作假的人, 所以替他们去填也是不可能的,

他们都希望直接写一封推荐信, 但是我看似乎都要求你网上提交, 而且每个学校的要求又不一样. 如果是这样, 该怎么办呢?

知道大家和我一样忙得焦头烂额, 在这里问一些粗浅的问题, 实在不好意思.

well well, let me try with this case:

1) create a new email account for each of your two recommenders, you will then know the a/c name and password and therefore be able to log in.

2) send recom link to these two emai addresses

3) use two different PCs (if you are concerned about the IP part) to log in the two account respectively and fill out the recommendation form

4) print a copy of the recommendation letter that you write up and present to your recommender for approval

5) upon their confirmation, submit online the letter

In such way, your concerns should then be gone since:

a) you submit letter online

b) your recommender does not need to fillout online form

c) your letter is fully communicated to the recommender and has been confirmed by them

谢谢MM, 只是还有个问题, 我在美国, 他们一个在香港, 一个在北京.

这个IP查出来, 似乎会有麻烦哦.

如果我叫他们自己申请, 然后我再登陆填, 然后再让他们确认, 会不会有IP的问题呢?

我肯定是会把推荐信给他们看的.

但是我昨天已经和他们说了推荐信的事情, 我先斩后奏, 怕弄巧成拙

you know, that was exactly i recommended you guys to do in my previous message, i mean, to share the link between you and your recommender, fill out everything by yourself and have your evaluator check and submit. don't worry to much about ip. relax please.

not necessarily need to submit online, I sent them by mail seperately. Schools don't really care recommendations.

Usually the referers are busy or lazy. They just write a letter for you for all the schools.

The recommendation letter is really a tough issue. My former line manager is in BJ while I am in SH. My problem is one of the schools I applied need hardcopy forms. Therefore I had to send a form by courier (not fax, for I have to sign on it first) to him and then he sends back to me by courier again.

So troublesome!
