而且我个人觉得，考GMAT不能用“秒杀”的思维，而应该是”不同句子之间比较，选出最好的句子”的思维。

OG12 #29 正确句子如下：The end of theeighteenth century saw the emergence of prize-stock breeding, with individual bulls andcows receiving awards,fetching unprecedented prices, and exciting enormous interestwhenever they were put on show.
lz提到的with前面不加逗号的句子，是Manhattan 5th p.242RIGHT: Owen walked out of the store with his head held high. 解说里面没有说必须去掉逗号，只是说"We can also vary the phrase slightly by adding with."
我个人觉得，不能说"comma+with"必然错。那个Manhattan的例句没有逗号，仅仅是因为前面的句子结构简单，"Owen walked out of the store"多简单的句子啊。假如这个句子再复杂点长一点，没有逗号的话就不满足effective expression，比如：
Owen, an American guy who loved drinking beer, walked out of the store that he had visited one week ago, with his head held high. 我只是加了几个长点的modifier，没有改变句子结构，"with his head held high"的作用仍然没变，但上面那个句子，如果with前面没有逗号，就要不得。前面给的两个GMAT句子，也是相对来说复杂一些，而with前面有逗号。总之我的看法是，不能看到"comma+with"就秒杀。Open to discussion.-- by 会员 babybearmm (2012/5/28 15:25:48)
