我觉得意思应该是   说情景剧因为角色和动作很容易被分类以至于使人们很容易对坏人发出那种自以为的嘘声但同时自己又很享受（自己可以轻易分类那些角色的感觉）？

我觉得你可能把 surprise的意思弄错了surprise 指的是 使别人惊讶。
人类的天性和长距离使得超过 速度上限  是这个州的人们所珍爱的传统，为了满足人们的需要，立法者在拒绝增加因为超速的惩罚时没有使任何人惊讶。

所以Self-rightness指的 不是自以为是或者公正的意思，在这里应该是 自己可以轻易正确分类那些角色

为什么不选C？空格修饰goal，____goal is the creation of a new prototype。既然是new prototype新原型，这个goal肯定是original创新的啊。

个人觉得因为这句话中的主要元素都用了一些修饰，来暗示ultimate:
a long-range 以及 still many years off 这些词语都在强调一种延续的感觉，而选项里能体现出延续性的就只有ultimate 最终的
如果把这些修饰词去掉，那original 自然也是可以的。
