E的最简化版就是“库存，accompanied by  increases XX”＝伴随着XX增长的库存（XX＝ 销售）（什么样的库存？：伴随着销售增长的库存，bingo）

副词不可以修饰名词，形容词可以修饰名词。

不过还有一个问题:

choic C 的解释: past tense were indicates a completed event, but can lead indicates a possiblity that continuous ;这里d, e选项都是用过去分词，难道过去分词也可以表示动做的延续吗？

这里说correspondingly ambiguous 其实是因为它可能会修释到 unaccompanied

C 不行因为用了表时间的 when. d, e 都是 "if"

这道题E会不会不平行呢？前面是存货，后面的中心词难道不应该是sales与之对应吗？现在中心词变成了increase，感觉不太舒服。

能不能讲讲Correspondingly increased sales和Corresponding increase in sales 有什么本质的区别。记得OG10里面好像有类似的题目，但是一时找不到。

seasnow的问题很好，但carolhide的解释似乎不能很好地回答这个问题。另外rising inventories是本句的主语，表示增加的库存，为什么要理解为伴随...增加的库存呢，主语还要伴随什么？

correspondingly increased sales中的correspondingly是副词修饰形容词increased（或者理解为作副词修饰动词原型increase),为什么awkward and unclear呢？难道还有别的什么理解不成？

Also, the intended meaning is distorted when the adverb separately is used to modify required, as in A and C, or taught, as in E; B correctly uses the adjective separate to modify course.

Some thoughts:

Rising inventories: an ongoing action

increased sales: a finished action, more focus on the "increased" state rather than the increase action.

Thus, corresponding increase is prefered to correspondingly increased to match with rising.

前面的解释都很好，但我觉得你的解释是抓住GMAT的真谛了，即逻辑搭配，而逻辑搭配中最难的就是词与词的逻辑搭配，动作性名词corresponding increase 对应动作性名词Rising inventories。而且OG的解题点也提示了：Diction+Logical prediction当然还有其它小的地方也可以起排除作用，比如我觉得can和possibly还是有区别的，应该尽量尊重原文。

第8题中正确选项E中是不是部分省略了谓语(be动词);另外主语怎么是inventories,而不是Rising inventories?

correspondingly 是副词, 用来修饰动词 unaccompanied, 并没有错.
但是 unaccompnied correspondingly 有些拗口, 不能算最佳.
