再问 GWD 19-18彻底糊涂了，With 又出现了

这个题再问一遍，实在是不能理顺，请帮忙解释一下各个选项的错误，题目重新贴一遍

答案是B.

A, 是不是Making no logical subject? so wrong?

B, with 的 modify 的对象是什么？？

C, two independent sentences no link word?? A law..... the immigrant.....

D, making no logical subject??

E being means on going tense

请忙帮解析一下，谢谢，还想请问， with 的用法，什么时候才能安心用with??

A中分词结构放在句中容易造成修饰歧义吧。

B中with结构作状语，应该是修饰动词found。

C可能企图用独立主格吧，但是用在句首好像不太妥当。

D应该是make结构不对，应该是make it...that...

E中的being是ETS向来不太喜欢的，另外和D同样的毛病。

不过我也不是很确定，make it ... for sb. to do sth.是错误的结构吗？

我觉得，首先，这题不存在因果关系，并不是因为这个法律的通过，所以移民者才发现，而应该是伴随状态，随着这个法律的通过，移民者发现，所以on account of , because of 和due to都不对，A，D，E排除。

然后看C，两个独立结构的句子没有连词，所以错误。

最后看B，with是ETS不太喜欢用的词，因为with容易造成歧义，是修饰就近的名词还是整个句子。但是with放在句首，就不会造成歧义，这也是ETS排除歧义修饰的惯用手段。

请指正！！

我觉得D好. B中的it指代不清. 要用不定试for sb. to do sth. 可用it知代,所以要从DE里选.E不对.

不说with，这个hold说不过去吧。

是becasue of law, 然后才found的。
