求定位，准备2018入学

大家好，我准备上申请美国2018年MBA的课程，想问以下大概可以申请到什么样的学校。
本科是英国，一等毕业，5%，sociel science专业，按照美国的算法，GPA差不多是3.75-3.8左右吧，毕业以后在London四大做consulting graduate scheme， 今年9月申请的时候就是4年工作经验, CFA考完，现在是senior consultan,明年9月应该是manger了
之前在念书的时候连续两年在一家慈善机构做fund raising，然后工作之后也有一些义工经验。
想问以下，GMAT大概要多少可以申请到比较好的学校或者是奖学金。然后从现在开始到9,10月申请的之间，需要做写什么准备，比如说做其他的义工还有social work来让cv好看？

楼主的academic & working background 都非常好，如果GMAT分数能刷到740+，完全可以试试申请M7的学校，同时申请着奖学金。

把resume，推荐信，和essay都好好准备，highlight 出自己过人的地方。

So right now the most important thing is for you to get that GMAT score.
Overall your profile is excellent. You have a good job. You also have moved up nicely. With that GMAT score, the last thing you will really need is a really good s as you can imagine there are a LOT of Big 4 applicants, and many profiles seem the same. So it will be very important for you to strategically consider how you can present your profile in an interesting and unique manner.

Because that is what will make you stand out against the crowd and beat the odds.

就是觉得和其他IB,MGG的人比，背景还是不太好啊

Hi Jon,
Thank you very much for your reply, just done the last CFA exma, fingers crossed that I will pass this time.

I am totally agree with you that the essay and GMAT is quite essential for my application, since my background is not about IB or MBB.

I will try to make attention draw to my charity work and social events that I have organsied, I am aimming to leverage this MBA to help me get more decent job rather than stay in Big 4.

Let me know if you have any suggestion.

I think that’s the way to start. Make sure you get that GMAT. Continue your charity work. And just keep your eye out for any leadership opportunities.
