刚刚去仔细看了一下你的帖子，我觉得吧，咱们的background差别还挺大的。
从建议的角度上讲，一定要自己做申请，反正我是不信任agency。他们没办法表达我想表达的东西，与其跟他们扯来扯去还不如自己搞。可能跟我做事风格有关，这种方向性的事情我一般不太喜欢take太多的建议。
Gmat的话，我觉得你可能得给自己再定高一点标准。730恐怕是进top bschool的最低门槛了。我自己考个740其实一直觉得不是很理想，但是工作太忙了，估计也没时间再去刷，主要是得请假比较烦。

其实我很想问，为啥一定要等到31,32再申请呢？如果没有什么特别原因的话，我觉得现在也可以搞起来啊。我也29， 觉得已经不早了。

G的分数感觉我还不太清晰，听你一说感觉好了很多。

31岁完全是因为我最早能拿到日本的永住（类似绿卡）也要31岁。如果没有这些我可能走得更早。

大多数人都建议我不找Agency，看来是自己申请还是主流。

Hey there,
So first of all you have an interesting profile, that is quite different from a lot of Chinese applications. So that’s good. You also have your studies in the US, and your GPA and GMAT are quite strong. I would need more information on you to better understand where you stand in terms of your work experience, though.

To answer your questions: For Strategy Consulting, any business school would work, and you simply want to aim for the best programs you can get into In your case, I think a mix of Top 10 and Top 20 schools is perfect.

To answer your second question, I would need more info about you - what leadership you have, what volunteer work, and understand more about your work experience.

Hi Jon,
Really appreciate your reply. I realy like the way you provide evaluation on people's background.
So where do you locate and what's the best way to reach you? I wish I could share more about who I am, as well as work, life, interests. I think I quite understand what I am looking for but i do not have a lot of pre/current/post MBA connections. So taking in some advice is necessary.

我也在做corporate strategy，和LZ背景算相似，从MR跳过来的，不同的是我一直待在甲方，没尝试过乙方
GPA3.0 GMAT730，16年刚申请过，给LZ些PERSONAL ADVICE吧

美中既然LZ不考虑，那也就剩下美西和美东
先说美东，美东感觉Job market比较好的就是Boston和NY
NY就是CBS和STERN，两所学校感觉和strategy都没啥关系，但CBS招牌在，觉得LZ可以试试，个人因为也不喜欢NY所以没申请
然后BOSTON的HBS和MIT，两所都非常好，建议LZ申请，我也申请了，但悲剧
美西就是GSB和HAAS，这两个学校我也申请悲剧了，但觉得LZ也可以试试看
美国其他学校我也没申请，因为除了SF和BOSTON，其他地方我都不想去待两年
对了，美西还有LA的UCLA和USC，我之前在LA，感觉再去读UCLA和USC GROWTH太小

另外建议LZ考虑的就是INSEAD和LBS，这两个学校因为personal preference其实我都没申请，INSEAD当时是我老板也就是我们现在公司的SP ED推荐我申请的，做strategy还是consulting出来的多，然后insead在consulting这块很强
LBS的理由和CBS一样
