Received a call from Ad com last night.

Unfortunately i thought it was financial aid from Tuck, so i began with "Tuck is a great school..." and after 10 mins, the extremely patient lady said "So are u going to Darden"...Really feel sorry...

被楼上的猜对了，adcom最后说congratulations anaway以后，告诉我package很快会寄到，然后第二天中午却发现Status变成了WL...Very very shocked...觉得发出来的offer被收回去，不太公道，所以发了email给学校，希望either offer or refund of application fee

然后就收到了下面的回复

Dear XXX,

Although we are not usually able to refund application fees in your case I will authorize this refund.

I’m sorry if you have experienced any confusion or dissatisfaction.

Virginia Porter who is copied on this message will be able to refund the application fee.

If the refund does not appear in your account within 30 days please contact me.

我觉得挺可惜的，申请的那么辛苦。

哎，也没办法，别人宁愿退application fee也不愿意给我offer，当时也没有硬要，觉得既然不去不要摆明降低人家的yield. Darden这个学校我还是挺喜欢的
