The experience is too short and you may not even get adapted to the U.S. If you have decided to go to that program, I suggest you get a good GPA and try to get good recommendation from professors.

Exactly, if you actually study abroad, you'll find out it is very unlikely that a professor who just knows you less than few months would provide a great recommendation.
