CUHK 2019 Part-Time / HKUST 2020 Bi-Weekly

Background: China 985/Top 40 University, GPA 2.X of 4, IELTS 6.5, Recruitment Service 6 years (Offer got without GMAT) in Shanghai + 1 year military service in Taiwan

CUHK:
The interviewer was Dennis, a handsome and considerable man. Half an hours’s Skype talk with few obvious challenging questions.

HKUST
Fly to Clear Bay Campus directly for the face-to-face Interview. 2 professors, easy questions too. I got the oral offer but can’t confirm whether I can use the GMAT Wavier.

-Self Introduction
-Why HKUST (answering about AI, Fin-Tech and other scientific technology are the core focus of HKUST which is my interests for next step)
-Detail questions about working experience
-Do you believe AI will replace your position one day?
-Any questions to them?

I am still a bit hesitating about the 2 offers:

-CUHK: can fly to HK just once a month for the flex mode, location near Futian Gate, tuition fee a bit lower than HKUST and split into 6 parts, start in this year;

-HKUST: Clear Bay a bit far, tuition fee split into 2 parts, start in January 2020. But I still prefer this...

我是在hkust weekly pt和 cuhk pt中选了ust, 很明显课程上是更优的，反正pt都是很折腾的就没有必要再去PK  a bit far了，fee其实并没有差很多，还是应该从更核心的地方考虑offer, 所以还是推荐ust，哈哈。

My understanding was CUHK tuition fee not includes textbooks and case purchase. You can clarify with admission office. Besides, UST offer shuttle buses to campus and one night stay (includes in tuition) in school. It’s truly a student mode. Not in a convenient location means you can focus on study.

*disclaimer: I am bi-weekly MBA in UST. lol!*

Then we could be schoolmates!! What I am thinking of is whether to transfer to Weekly or just to keep in Bi-Weekly, cause it’s possible for me to work in Hong Kong.
