谢谢高人乐于助人!one silly question, what does MC mean?
MC is Management Consulting!

Though we are at a website for NA,I want to know the situation about BS in EU?

How about INSEAD,LBS?They are something or nothing, comparing with BS in NA.

Many Thanks

thank you. lewis.

Some of them can, but due to the sluggish economy in the states, it is getting tougher for a foreign MBA to land a decent job.
请教:怎么没有supply chain/logistics方向的排名呢?
Supply Chain/Logistics
1.    MIT
2.    MSU
3.    U. of Penn.
4.    Stanford
5.    ASU
                    CMU
6.    SU
7.    OSU
8.    urdue
9.    Northwestern

it is all money driven. everyone has rankings for accounting, MC, IB..., why? they are where the money is.

only small magazines will have logistics, international business...., why? less money...

when I say money, I am talking about salary and social status...

There is no specific ranking regarding to PM. You can, however, find tons of useful information at:
http://www.gradschools.com/listings/menus/project_menu.html

Enjoy it! Btw, I am also interested in PM.

Lewis,我在Gradschools.com上发了一些inquiry,现收到Regent University商学院的一些材料:DSO Release Form for International Transfer Students和Financial Information for F-1 or J-1 Students及

"About Regent University

The nation's academic center for Christian thought and action.

It's more than a description of Regent University - it's a way of life. As America's premier graduate school dedicated to combining quality education with biblical teachings, Regent continues to produce Christian leaders who will make a difference, who will change the world.

Just a glance at the world class institution makes a lasting impression. Regent has more than 2,900 students in nine academic schools, two campuses and distance education reaching around the globe. From the gleaming beauty and technological sophistication of its facilities to the accomplishments of students and graduates, there's much to be proud of at Regent.

The 31,000-square-foot Student Center on Regent's Virginia Beach Campus, opened in 2003, offers a central location for campus and student services. The building houses the University Bookstore, student organizations and meeting rooms, a cafe/coffee shop, computer lab, student lounge, and offices for the Registrar, Admissions and Financial Aid. The 135,000-square-foot Communication and Performing Arts Center, opened in 2002, includes film and animation studios in one of the most technologically advanced communication buildings on the East Coast.

More than a collection of buildings, Regent produces students who excel in their fields. Recent student accomplishments include the School of Law's victory in the Best Brief in the Nation competition (out of 120 teams) at the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and the Students in Free Enterprise team's regional SIFE championship in competition among 30 colleges and universities. The Regent Moot Court Team also claimed a title, becoming the first school in Virginia since 1988 to win the prestigious William B. Spong Jr. Moot Court Tournament at the College of William and Mary.

All of the many accomplishments and physical presence of Regent in Virginia Beach and its Washington, D.C. campus near the Potomac River are even more impressive considering the school was founded only 25 years ago.

Dr. M. G. "Pat" Robertson, founder and president of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), had an inspired vision to establish a graduate-level institution that would train men and women for the challenge of representing Christ in their professions. In 1978, Robertson's vision materialized in Virginia Beach, as 77 students began classes. "

DSO Release Form for International Transfer Students
Financial Information for F-1 or J-1 Students

" and " General Management"? I got so confused about it...

"Entrepreneurship" means you're your own boss. GM means you're working for others, like share holders.

MC go to IB or return to MC and IB go to MC or return to IB,  or both go to private euqity, or both will set up their own companies.
IB=investment banking
no, private euqity means "Si (1), Mu(4)' fund. Venture capital is the early stage of private euqity. Like public capital market. private euqity firms can make investment into early or growth stage firms in the forms of equity or debt. It's nothing related to prviate client service or investment funds.

While, further more, private equity is actrually more decent than IB or consulting for some people. In this area, only harvard is a big name, and then the remaining.

I think it's worth to mention that WSJ ranking is based on recruiters experiences/opinions about the schools and therefore, might not be consistent with the education quality of the schools that they rank.  US News and Businessweek, in my opinion, are more on the point about the school qualities.  So be careful when reading these rankings, think what criteria/methodology that they each use to do their ranking.

With the sluggish economy, it may be difficult for Chinese studnets to land a MC or IB job in a US firm. But many US firms have offices in China (McK, Bain, BCG all do, along with the big IB banks). We have an advantage there since we can speak the local dialect. Some Chinese grad have landed jobs in such offices.
