Most US business schools with high reputation always invite the MBA applicants with potential. You will lost all most of the chances to top schools if you avoid this challenge. So, you might change your strategy.
Thanks a lot, Ok brother. Then I have to wait for another year as I am going to have a serious operation and not able to afford any interview from now till March/April. I would not want to wait for so long.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

ellaine, what did you mean "you can't afford any interview"? Is it a money issue or you have to stay in hospital?
Hi, Chipmunk.
Sorry about the confussion.
I have to stay in Hospital or at home. I don't think that I will have enough energy to get ready for tough questions then. But I have lots of free time to write essays as I don't need to work for these months. I've got other things, such as GMAT (760) and references ready now.
How do you think about it? Maybe I could target for less competitive programs at first? Or some research-oriented programs? The only thing I care is that it should be good in Finance.
Thanks for ur guidance.
I think lots of schools offer telephone interview option. Then you could stay at home to conduct the interview. Once you explain your situation to schools, they should understand it.
actually, that would be a great topic regarding the chanllenge you are facing.

Just curious, what kind of surgery needs so long time to recovery if not a tumor? Something about bone?
Hi Ellainezhang,
I think you can easily find interview information on BW online. It is in the first page of each school's profile.
For example, the profile of Indiana shows it interview only 29% of applicant and 32% of enrolled applicant. You can deduced from this data that(1) interview is not neccesary and (2) interview actually is detrimental to your chance of acceptance.
