4. Special circumstances related to your academic program which you would like to mention (up to 500 words).

请教大家这里最主要是用来解释GPA低啥的吗？我的GPA不太低，但是想借此提提我大学的生活，譬如课外活动，在实验室的工作收获和双学位的学习，是不是也可以？多谢！！！

Special circumstances related to your academic program which you would like to mention (up to 500 words). 应该是在Special circumstances 环境下，课外活动，在实验室的工作收获和双学位的学习对你的 academic program 影响比较大，而且有特点，如果在essays中其他地方没有提到的话，这个地方可以好好发挥一下。如果仅仅是流水帐，那么Sloan会怀疑你的理解能力的。毕竟Sloan比较侧重你在essays中的思考过程。

to dream2008，如果我侧重描述这些活动对个人personality，而不是academic ability的影响，是不是算偏题了呢？

personality，如果表现在/或者与adademic相关，当然是好的，譬如，经过克服challenges，说明在学术方面你的personality是什么？等等。小姑娘，再想想。个人认为，如果写personality，如果你又没有在以前的essays中涉及，最好放在“5. Whatever else you would like the Admissions Committee to know (up to 500 words).”里写。
